Type N Mortar Mix is a preblended mixture of sand and masonry cement or sand, lime and portland cement. For laying brick, block and stone in load bearing walls. Build walls, planters, and chimneys. For tuck pointing or repairing existing mortar joints. Can also be used for scratch and brown coat in stucco applications. Meets property requirements of ASTM C270 and C1714. | USE: For the construction of masonry walls using concrete block, clay brick, screen blocks, glass block and stone. Ideal for stucco repairs and repointing old mortar joints. Sets in 4-6 hours. | YIELD: One 25 kg (55 lb.) sack will provide enough mortar for approximately 25 standard clay bricks or 10 standard blocks with a 10 mm (3/8 inch) mortar joint.
